The business attire in Hong Kong has always been more British like because of the colonial influence. Dress code is getting casual but office attire remains formal so most people still opt for more conservative colours. A younger client prefers to have a more stylistic cut for his business suit. The lapel is slightly curved inwards compared to the traditional belly cut. The sleeves are sewn with a shirt shoulder construction without pads. Patch pockets replace the jetted pockets and a Milanese buttonhole on the lapel is chosen. Overall the cut resembles a sports jacket but the fabric choice remains the conventional suiting.
