The design of a suit has not changed much for over hundred of years but every commission needs to reflect the fashion of that time, through the silhouette and fabric choice. The wearer picks a soft charcoal suiting that has a luxurious hand feel. It is a stable of wardrobe, however, no man wants to wear a new suit that looks a costume from a movie of the dated past. We cut this jacket with a higher waistline and slant pockets to give a more contemporary look. Yet we still stick to the tradition of kissing buttons at the cuff and a one-inch boutonnière on the lapel.
